Skraahpenjuenie

Directions: Drive road E 12 towards Mo i Rana, 15 km west of Hemavan in the village Umfors, turn right after a gravel road just before the Gränslöst store. The gravel road passes to a path that then disappears and you must find yoru own way up to the top.

There is a possibility to park a car up after the gravel road. If you are unsure, please ask the residents for permission. The trail begins at the end of the road at a small turning area. Then follows the Kvarnbäcken / Skraahpejohke on the north side into the steep and dramatic valley. The trail is not marked.

The trail will eventually disapears and you will find your own way to the top. A little tricky and some wet marshes on the way up. The view from the top is stunning towards Artfjället and north towards Lake Över-Uman. The Swedish-Norwegian border mountains in the distance are well visible. The sunset is beyond the ordinary from this peak.
