Syterbäcken brook

A stream with many waterfalls and scenery.

Bridge across Syterbäcken brook 4 km north of Hemavan along the Royal Trail. Long series of waterfalls often featuring azure blue melted ice from the glaciers of Norra Storfjället mountain.

Two trails start out from the Syterbäcken brook area. The first starts with a minor road that goes a short distance up to the right after the turn-off to Rönäs. Straight ahead from this road the trail continues up along the Syterbäcken brook to connect with the King’s Trail up on the bare mountain above the treeline, 4 km. The other trail follows the northwest side of the brook and connects with the trail that starts out from the village Klippen and then continues towards the King’s Trail.
