Vojtja conglomerate
The unique rock species known as the Vojtja conglomerate is to be seen on the roadside about 1.5 km prior to and west of the crossroads between the road on the south side of lake Björkvattnet and the road to Björkås. Geologically speaking a conglomerate is a species of rock consisting of various stones cemented together, which are visible to the eye. It was formed from the shore of the ancient sea, which was folded into the mountain chain 500 million years ago.
